Reminder

There is no school Monday, September 7th due to Labor Day! All students will return on Tuesday, September 8th. 

Next week in Grade 1 we are starting our VIP rotation.  This is a way for the students and myself to get to know each other better.  Every Friday a child will be chosen at random to be VIP for the following week.  They will receive an invitation that will be placed in their backpacks. All expectations will are detailed in the invitation as theres a special sharing jobs students get to present Monday- Friday (for your child's favourite book you can let your child's teacher know the title of the book and we will find a copy at school or online).  Please take a look for an invitation on Friday's.  Every child will get a turn but patience will be needed to get to all the students in the class. Under the current guidelines provided by Alberta Health Service, only digital copies of the pictures will be accepted as a way for your child to share. 

Monday and Tuesday- Send pictures to your child's teacher email 

Wednesday -just email your child's teacher that title of her favorite story and we'll play it online

Thursday- Send a picture of your child's estimation jar and the answer to your child's teacher

Friday- Again send a picture and he/she can use the smartboard to share her/his show and tell.

We know this isn't ideal but we still wanted the opportunity to celebrate each child!!
